This thread aims at supporting my relearning of New Testament Greek after not using it for a full thirty years. My intent is to record here some of the tools I happen to come across and that help me along in this process. I was quite happy to be able to find on-line the 28 Edition of the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece and a review of it, A New Edition of the Greek New Testament. The review helped me evaluate what differences there might be between the 28th edition, and the third printed edition of 1975 I own.

Feel free to add currently available resources you find useful to your own learning, refreshing or teaching of New Testament Greek.

I just came across Thor F. Carden, Introduction to Koiné Greek, Lesson Guide 1, and Introduction to Koiné Greek, Lesson Guide 2. Perusing it, I appreciate the following statement, for its universally applicable character: "Using this method requires that you develop some tolerance for ambiguity, uncertainty, and error both in yourself and as you perceive it in others" (part 1, p. 7). This method is based on interacting with the Greek text before having acquired a full grasp of it, as we do with living languages we use. This approach seems particularly well suited for the purpose of reviving a language that one had become able to read in days past.

The above-mentioned documents are part of a fuller set of material available under Document Guide for Introduction to Koiné Greek.
